Volunteer With Us
No experience necessary. Join us from snow melt to snow fall.
Volunteering with Friends of the Central Cascades Wilderness is open to everyone — no experience necessary. Whether you prefer a day hike or a multi-day backpacking trip, there is a role for you.
Our volunteer season runs from snow melt to snow fall. Activities include trail and sign maintenance, campsite cleanup, and wilderness stewardship across four wilderness areas: Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Washington, Three Sisters, and Diamond Peak.
Volunteers receive a complimentary NW Forest Pass and Wilderness Permit for the season as a thank-you for their service.
