Our Mission
Our Mission
The mission of Friends of the Central Cascades Wilderness is to protect and preserve the wilderness areas of the Central Cascades by fostering public understanding, engaging volunteers in hands-on stewardship, and working in partnership with land managers to care for trails, campsites, and natural landscapes—ensuring these wild places remain unspoiled for future generations.
We work in partnership with the Deschutes and Willamette National Forests to steward four incredible wilderness areas: Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Washington, Three Sisters, and Diamond Peak.
